In 2016 they perform at SESC Rio Preto on the occasion of its first Festival. Then they made some noise at a series of parties called Villa Latina at Zé Presidente. The band was also part of the program of Teatro Sergio Cardoso in the Teatro Confide of the Department for Culture together with the A.P.P.A. (Associaçao Paulista Produtores de Arte).
This year in June, only 6 months after starting their collaboration, the Ciganos went to Europe to launch their first album SUDAKASBEAT. In a period of 70 days they travelled through 6 countries and performed 40 times at festivals, parties and various venues.
After this successful European tour, the band returned to Brazil and performed at the Festival Paulista de Circo de Piracicaba of the Department for Culture and at the Condomínio Cultura for the project Quarta Aumentada. They also played as opening act for a well known band in São Paulo « BIG UP » at Jay Club.
Their new show Latin Power Trio will soon to be enjoyed by all the dancers of the world.
HISTÓRY
Ciganos en Fuga was formed in São Paulo at the end of 2015, when three artists from different branches and countries (Argentina and Brazil) decided to join their artistic and musical experiences to develop an authorial repertoire based on Brazilian and Latin music.
Their first show was held in the Praça Kantuta, a square where immigrants living in São Paulo come together to celebrate festivals and gatherings: it was the perfect place to start their wanderings.
